They have a fight, he murders her, and places her body on the back of the train. He knows that a dangerous curve is ahead, even though he's never been on this train before. The old man, meanwhile, can tell you the exact time without looking at a watch. The girl is complaining that her husband never wants to leave their compartment. At the beginning of the film, we see a girl and an old man sitting in a railroad car.
